California Court of Appeal

People v. Bauer, D060346

Trial court's orders revoking defendant's probation and imposing a six-year prison sentence as a result of his earlier guilty plea to a charge of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under 14 years is reversed and remanded where: 1) the trial court erred by failing to inform the defendant of his right to counsel at the probation revocation and deferred sentencing hearings; and 2) the error in this case was prejudicial, requiring reversal.
