In a former police officer's suit against a city alleging discrimination and failure to accommodate claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), trial court's judgment in favor of the city is affirmed where the evidence supports the trial court's conclusion that, even though officers in administrative positions are not frequently required to engage in strenuous activities, the strenuous duties are essential functions of the positions because the police department has a legitimate need to be able to deploy officers in those positions in the event of emergencies and other mass mobilizations.
