In a dispute between insurers for equitable contribution, trial court's judgment in favor of the plaintiff is: 1) affirmed as to the trial court's apportionment of costs where the allocation of burdens of proof under Safeco is supported by the evidence; but 2) reversed as to the award of prejudgment interest where plaintiff's damages were not "certain, or capable of being made certain by calculation" as contemplated by section 3287.
