California Court of Appeal
Don Johnson Productions, Inc. v. Rysher Entertainment, B227304
In a breach of contract dispute between a Hollywood actor and an entertainment production company over the actor's interest in the copyright of the "Nash Bridges" television series, the judgment of the trial court is affirmed where: 1) the four-year renewal requirement of Civil Code section 360.5 has no application to the parties' tolling agreement because there was no requirement that the agreement be renewed after four years; and 2) the statute of limitations was tolled by the agreement.
