California Court of Appeal
Fed. Ins. Co. v. Steadfast Ins. Co., B227301
In a dispute between insurers over a duty to defend in an action by the United States against their insureds for discrimination under the Fair Housing Act, the judgment of the trial court is affirmed where: 1) only Federal Insurance Company had a duty to defend in the underlying action because it issued the only insurance policy that provided coverage for discrimination claims; and 2) neither of the other two insurers had a duty to defend because their policies did not cover the claims in the action.
