California Court of Appeal
In re B.S., B237034
A juvenile court's denial of a father's request to have his son placed with him in Texas is affirmed where the juvenile court acted well within its discretion in concluding that it would be detrimental to the child to place him with the father due to the: 1) serious nature of the sustained allegations against the father, the child's continued need for juvenile court protection; 2) lack of supervision by the Texas authorities; and 3) inability of the Department to supervise a placement in Texas.
