A petition for a writ of mandate, by the County of Los Angeles, directing the trial court to vacate its order appointing two Department of Regional Planning employees as confidential expert witnesses for real parties in interest, in an underlying action involving a challenge to enforcement of section 3003.5(b), which prohibits sex offenders from residing within 2000 feet of any public or private school or park where children regularly gather, is granted, as the superior court erred in refusing to vacate its expert appointment order because a court has no authority to interfere with the employer-employee relationship by way of an appointment order over the objection of the employer.
