In a broker's petition seeking to expunge his public securities records held within the central depository database (CRD) maintained by the defendant, trial court's order sustaining defendant's demurrer and dismissing the matter is reversed and remanded, as by adopting the narrow legal criteria of 2080(b) as the tool for evaluating petitioner's pleadings, to the exclusion of any consideration of equitable principles, the court failed to rule on petitioner's claim for equitable relief.
