California Court of Appeal

People v. Coleman, A133226

In a conviction of defendant for rape and related crimes, trial court's order authorizing involuntary medication for purposes of restoring defendant to competency to stand trial is affirmed, as substantial evidence supports the finding that the administration of antipsychotic medication is substantially likely to render defendant to stand trial, is medically appropriate in this case, and the trial court's order is not fatally deficient.
