California Court of Appeal

People v. Jones, B233204

In a conviction of defendant for making a criminal threat and other offenses, trial court's decision to admit hearsay statements under the forfeiture by wrongdoing doctrine is affirmed, as defendant cites no case that holds that the doctrine applies only when the defendant has murdered the victim of the crime to prevent that victim from testifying about that crime.
