California Court of Appeal

People v. Bejasa, E051308

In a prosecution for driving a vehicle under the influence of a drug and personally causing great bodily injury to another, transporting a controlled substance, and driving without a license, convictions are affirmed, where although the trial court erred in admitting the defendant's pre-Miranda custodial statements to the police, including the estimation of time made during a Romberg test, the error was harmless.
