California Court of Appeal
Lin v. Jeng, B232899
In a partition action that resulted in ownership interests for each of seven siblings, the trial court's order granting and denying attorney's fees motions is affirmed, where: 1) Code of Civil Procedure section 874.040 permits the trial court to apportion attorney fees based on equitable considerations, and the trial court did not abuse its discretion when it held plaintiffs responsible for all of the attorney fees they incurred; 2) the trial court did not abuse its discretion when it found that the amount of attorney fees requested by the respondents was reasonable.
