California Court of Appeal

People v. Sanders, B225024

On appeal from a judgment committing the appellant to a two-year term as a sexually violent predator pursuant to a stipulated agreement, the judgment is affirmed, where: 1) the appellant was foreclosed from seeking appellate review of any due process violation based on delay because he admitted to the allegations contained in the petition seeking his commitment; and 2) the stipulation by which the appellant agreed he would receive a two-year commitment was valid, and was not premised on preservation of his right to challenge on appeal the delay in the proceedings.
