California Court of Appeal

People v. Bowman, D057467

Conviction and sentencing of defendant for robbery and false imprisonment are upheld where the trial court did not err in instructing the jury that: 1) defendant's silence in response to police questioning could be considered an adoptive admission, and 2) defendant's efforts to establish a false alibi could show consciousness of guilt.
