In an appeal from a judgment of the trial court denying defendant's anti-SLAPP motion in a Stanson complaint for unlawful campaign expenditures, judgment is reversed where defendant's use of public funds to prepare and disseminate materials concerning a ballot initiative for a new community hospital was proper under Vargas v. City of Salinas.
