Conviction and sentencing of defendant for assault with a deadly weapon and mayhem, Penal Code sections 245(a)(1) and 203, are affirmed as modified where discussions of victim's medical records by a testifying expert witness, including references to reports prepared by other nontestifying physicians, are not "testimonial" out-of-court statements so that their admission into evidence would violate defendant's Sixth Amendment rights.
