California Court of Appeal
Field v. Bowen, A129946
In an appeal from a judgment of the trial court denying plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction against enforcement of Proposition 14, judgment is affirmed where both implementing statutes, Elections Code section which precludes candidates from stating on the ballot a preference for a nonqualified political party and Elections Code section 8606 which prohibits the counting of write-in votes at the general election for offices covered by the Proposition, are constitutional.
