California Court of Appeal
Jones v. ConocoPhillips, B225418
In an appeal from the judgment of the trial court dismissing plaintiffs' survivor action for products liability for failure to plead Bockrath causation, judgment is reversed where, at the pleading stage, plaintiffs need not identify the specific toxin contained in each hazardous product to which the deceased was exposed that was a substantial factor in causing his illness in order to state a viable products liability claim.
