California Court of Appeal
Mansur v. Ford Motor Co., E049411
In a tort action arising from a fatal car accident and alleging strict product liability, negligence, and breach of implied and express warranties, judgment in favor of the defendant with award of costs is affirmed where the trial court did not err: 1) in not instructing the jury on the consumer expectations test; 2) in excusing a juror who admitted to having a partial view of the case because of a newspaper article he read; and 3) in its evidentiary rulings.
