California Court of Appeal
Wallace v. McCubbin, A127287
In dispute arising for an unlawful detainer action, judgment of the trial court order denying defendants' motion to strike two causes of action from plaintiffs‘ complaint under the anti-SLAPP statute, Code Civ. Pro. section 425.16, is reversed because acts on which plaintiffs' causes of action are based constitute protected conduct, and plaintiffs failed to demonstrate a probability of prevailing on the merits based on the alleged protected activity.
