Griffith v. Superior Court, B228470

In a petition for a preemptory writ directing the respondent superior court to vacate its order denying petitioner's motion to set aside an information for felony and two misdemeanors charges, petition is granted where relevant statutory changes were not intended to abolish the longstanding rule that misdemeanors included in an information are subject to dismissal under Penal Code section 995 if not supported by a showing of probable cause at the preliminary hearing.
