In a consumer action alleging that defendant improperly and routinely asked its customers for their ZIP codes during credit card transactions for the purpose of mailing marketing materials to them, judgment of the trial court granting defendant's demurrer on Song-Beverly cause of action is reversed based on the California Supreme Court's holding in Pineda v. Williams-Sonoma, (2011) 51 Cal.4th 524, with judgment upheld in all other aspects.
