In a petition for a writ of mandate alleging that a staff reduction plan by defendant violated Gov. Code section 71600 et seq (Act) and constituted a due process deprivation, judgment in favor of defendant is affirmed in part and vacated in part where: 1) denial of plaintiffs' requests for demotion or reclassification violated the Act and the court's own policies and rules; but 2) such denial did not deprive plaintiffs of due process.
