California Court of Appeal

Barry v. OC Residential Properties, LLC, G043073

In a dispute arising from the acquisition of a house by defendant in a nonjudicial foreclosure sale and a subsequent redemption attempt by plaintiff, Civ. Code sections 1367.1(g) and 729.070(a), judgment of trial court on setting the redemption price to include expenses defendant paid for maintenance and repair work on the unit after the foreclosure sale, an electric bill, and interest on the foreclosure sale purchase price is affirmed because sale was constitutional and the inclusion of expenses was in the nature of indemnification such that it was proper.
