In plaintiff's suit against an automobile manufacturer for strict liability and defective design, arising from an automobile collision which rendered him a quadriplegic, trial court's judgment for $21,654,000 against the defendants in finding stability and roof defects in the vehicle had caused plaintiff's injury is affirmed where: 1) substantial evidence supports the trial court's findings of strict liability on plaintiff's claims of stability and roof defects; 2) substantial evidence supports the failure to warn finding; 3) the trial court did not abuse its discretion in excluding defendant's evidence; and 4) the award of economic damages was supported by substantial evidence.
