California Court of Appeal
In re K.C., F058395
In juvenile dependency proceedings terminating a father's parental rights to his infant son, trial court's denial of a petition for relative placement brought by the child's paternal grandparents is affirmed as a parent does not have appellate standing to challenge an order denying a relative placement request once a permanency planning hearing is pending unless the parent can show his or her interest in the child's companionship, custody, management and care is, rather than may be, "injuriously affected" by the court's decision.
