California Court of Appeal
People v. Bowman, F058082
In a prosecution of defendant for drug offenses, trial court's judgment that certain admitted evidence at issue did not violate defendant's Sixth Amendment right to confront witnesses is affirmed as the United States Supreme Court's recent holding in Melendez-Diaz does not abrogate the holding in Geier that an in-court witness may rely on laboratory notes and reports even if prepared by a different individual to support the witness's expert opinion.
