SP Star Enter., Inc. v. City of Los Angeles, B204045

In an action involving a conditional use permit to serve alcohol at a club, trial court's order denying plaintiff's writ petition is affirmed where the case does not involve free speech but the right to sell alcohol, which is not a protected activity and does not involve a fundamental vested right, and thus the standards applied by the Area Planning Commission are not vague or arbitrary and the Commission's decision is supported by the record.
