California Court of Appeal

People v. O'Shell, D052192

Trial court order committing defendant for an indeterminate term to the custody of the State Department of Mental Health under the Sexually Violent Predators Act (SVPA) is affirmed where trial court erred in excluding as irrelevant defendant's testimony, but there was an insufficient showing of prejudice from the exclusion and thus the error was harmless.
