Trial court's order imposing a $300 fine under Penal Code section 290.3(a) for failure to register as a sex offender is affirmed and modified where the amount of the fine imposed constituted an unauthorized sentence, that may be corrected at any time. The judgment is modified to a $200 section 290.3(a) fine, as well as a state surcharge, state court construction fee, and other penalty assessments.
