Oceguera v. Cohen, B205608

In a breach of contract action, judgment in favor of plaintiff is affirmed where substantial evidence supported the trial court's finding that defendant and his partner were unlicensed contractors who did not act in substantial compliance with the licensing requirement, and thus, pursuant to Business and Professions Code sec. 7031 (b) plaintiff was entitled to a refund of moneys paid under the construction contract.
