In a dispute involving a settlement offer, grant of defendant's special motion to strike plaintiff's complaint over the settlement offer as a SLAPP action is affirmed where: 1) an attorney's communication of an offer of settlement to counsel for an opposing party is protected activity subject to the absolute litigation privilege; and 2) plaintiffs cannot prevail on their claims because they are based on conduct subject to the absolute litigation privilege.
