California Court of Appeal

In re J.P., A118858

Judgment of juvenile court denying motion to set aside sex offender registration requirement is reversed where pursuant to People v. Hofsheier (2006), mandatory registration would deny juvenile-minor equal protection under the law because there is no such requirement for similarly situated offenders convicted or adjudicated of committing unlawful intercourse with a person under 18 under Penal Code section 261.5, subdivision (a).
