In an appeal of a court order to comply with a document subpoena from the California Corporations Commissioner, the trial court's order compelling compliance is affirmed where: 1) the subject of the subpoena was a California corporation; and 2) the California Commissioner of Corporations has jurisdiction under California's Prorater Law to investigate alleged unlicensed prorating activities of California corporations even if those activities are directed at non-residents of California.
