California Court of Appeal

In re: Kenneth S., D053130

Juvenile court committed reversible error in dismissing, without an evidentiary hearing, father's petition to modify a prior visitation order under Welfare and Institutions Code section 388. Having established a guardianship for the children, the court did not have the authority to terminate its jurisdiction over the children and refer the matter to family court.
