California Court of Appeal
In re: Singler, C054634
Parole board's decision finding second-degree murderer unsuitable for parole is not supported by the evidence, where: 1) all of the suitability factors are favorable to Petitioner; 2) the evidence shows he has insight into why he killed his wife; 3) neither the fact that he shot his wife as their children slept in the next room, nor that he disposed of her body in a rural area, was so especially atrocious as to undermine the evidence that he is no longer a danger to public safety.
