Briggs v. Resolution Remedies, A121594

In a dispute concerning an uninsured motorist policy issued by General Insurance Company (GEICO), denial of petition for writ of mandate to direct private arbitrator to lift stay he had imposed in the arbitration is affirmed where: 1) the trial court correctly declined to intervene in the arbitration, albeit for the wrong reasons; and 2) the court lacked subject matter jurisdiction to review the arbitrator's stay order.
