Brewer v. Premier Golf Properties, D050686

In an action against defendant-former employer seeking compensatory and punitive damages and attorney's fees for age discrimination, judgment for plaintiff-former employee is affirmed in part and reversed in part where punitive damages are not recoverable when liability is premised solely on the employer's violation of the Labor Code statutes that regulate meal and rest breaks, pay stubs, and minimum wage laws.
