California Court of Appeal

People v. Cox, C057500

In a plea of no contest to resisting an executive officer arising from defendant's refusal to permit officer to search him and his subsequent attempt to evade arrest, denial of motion to suppress evidence is affirmed where the defendant's subsequent conduct in resisting the officers was an independent act that dissipated the taint from the unlawful seizure.
