California Court of Appeal
Alcala v. Vazmar Corp., B191514
In a wrongful death action brought against defendant tire corporation, judgment in favor of defendant is reversed where the trial court did not commit error when it declined to instruct the jury on negligence per se and the verdict was supported by substantial evidence, but the trial court committed prejudicial error by refusing to admit a highly relevant and admissible statement made by defendant.
