In a criminal matter involving the state three strikes law, application of enhanced penalty in sentencing is affirmed where the Legislature intended to subject offenders who commit vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated to enhanced penalties in connection with other DUI convictions, regardless of the timing of the underlying conduct.
