In a case against Child Protective Services for the release of a minor who was later stabbed by her father, summary judgment for defendant based on immunity under Government Code section 820.2 is affirmed where the Legislature has chosen to immunize government employees from liability for discretionary acts "whether or not discretion be abused" even though such discretion is exercised badly.
