Board of Parole Hearings is no longer given the deference which courts once thought it was entitled. In a case where appellant was sentenced to an indeterminable term of 15 years to life in state prison for a murder incident in 1992, a petition for writ of habeas corpus is granted where the evidence provided at a 2006 parole hearing does not support the Board's finding that petitioner was unsuitable for parole at that time.
