Bourquez v. Superior Ct. (People), C055402

Petition for writ of mandate challenging an order finding the superior court has jurisdiction to proceed on petitions to extend petitioners' involuntary commitments under the Sexually Violent Predator Act is denied as there is an implied savings clause in SB 1128 and Proposition 83 providing the superior court with jurisdiction to proceed on the petitions to extend petitioners' commitments.
