California Court of Appeal

In re A.C., C054642

Orders denying mother's petition for modification and terminating parental rights and father's request for a continuance to allow him to file a petition for modification are affirmed over claims that: 1) the court abused its discretion in denying the petition and request; 2) it was error for the court to fail to give notice of the proceedings to a non-federally recognized tribe; and 3) mother's trial counsel provided inadequate representation in failing to raise the issue.
