California Court of Appeal

Baccouche v. Blankenship, B192291

While defendant's easement for equine use is accessory to use of his residential property, and the easement is valid, applicable zoning ordinances prohibit the keeping of horses on a lot not developed for residential use and, thus, the easement is unenforceable insofar as it would allow a use in violation of those ordinances.
