In case involving claims of unauthorized use of a name, multi-million dollar verdict for plaintiff which was premised upon a ruling in limine erroneously interpreting and applying Civil Code section 3344(a) is reversed where plaintiff had but a single cause of action for wrongful appropriation of his name, thereby limiting his statutory damages to $750.
