California Court of Appeal

People v. Garcia, G037489

Conviction and sentence for carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in public and street terrorism are affirmed over claims that: 1) there was insufficient evidence supporting the street terrorism conviction and the gang enhancement; 2) the trial court abused its discretion by allowing the prosecution's gang expert to testify regarding the ultimate issues of the case; and 3) defendant's sentence violated Penal Code section 654, as the trial court sentenced him to consecutive terms for the street terrorism charge and for the gang enhancement.
