California ex. rel. Hindin v. Hewlett-Packard Co., A114629

In suit brought under the California False Claims Act alleging defendant submitted false claims to the State regarding the marketing and sale of medical devices, including Medi-Cal reimbursement claims, grant of motion for judgment on the pleadings based on the statute of limitations is reversed where the three-year limitations period of Government Code section 12654(a) commences when the claim is discovered by the official of the state or political subdivision charged with responsibility to act in the circumstances.
