In case involving firing of deputy sheriff after he allegedly assaulted another deputy, judgment for defendants is affirmed as: 1) summary judgment was properly granted on Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act claim; 2) a jury trial was properly denied on breach of contract claims where relief sought was primarily equitable in nature; and 3) plaintiff failed to prove a breach of a settlement agreement. The cost award is affirmed in part, but reversed in part based on one item in plaintiff's motion to tax costs.
